The owner of the former Bronx Grill has joined the Golden Corral franchise family and will be bringing Golden Corral to the Bronx, New York market. Jeff Foxworthy Goes Prime Time for Premium Weekends

Golden Corral®, the nation’s largest grill-buffet chain, is offering guests a premium experience at an affordable price with its “Premium Weekends” menu.  For a limited time, guests can enjoy endless Carved Slow Roasted Prime Rib, NEW Premium Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp, Honey Teriyaki Glazed Salmon, and Golden Delicious Shrimp, all for the value price of $13.99*.  Golden Corral spokesperson Jeff Foxworthy introduced Premium Weekends with a humorous commercial themed around the Valentine’s Day holiday. Kids Eat Free at Golden Corral thanks to Nascar driver!

Nascar Driver JJ Yeley delivered a Top 10 finish in the Golden Corral No. 36 Chevrolet at the 2016 Daytona 500.  That meant it was a "JJ's Monday" Monday, February 25 , at Golden Corral restaurants across the country. Each time the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet finishes in the top 10 this season, Golden Corral will offer a one day "Kids Eat Free" promotion called "JJ's Mondays" on the Monday immediately following the top-10 race finish.  Details of the "JJ's Mondays" deal are:

Camp Corral Shines in 2015

Golden Corral is a long-standing supporter of American veterans and is committed to honoring military families and service members. The company was the founding sponsor of Camp Corral in 2011, and continues to provide generous support to the organization, now a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit corporation. This year's fundraising campaign runs from April 1 to May 31, and will collect donations from the restaurants' guests and franchises of the 500 Golden Corral restaurants. In 2014, Golden Corral raised more than $1.6 million that was used to send over 3,000 military children to a Camp Corral host camp.

Golden Corral Names New President and CEO

(Jan. 1, 2015) – Golden Corral, the nation’s leading grill buffet chain, announces the appointment of Lance Trenary as President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1.  Trenary, who started in his family’s restaurant business at an early age washing dishes, moved up the ranks at Golden Corral the last 29 years, serving most recently as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Trenary will take over for retiring CEO Ted Fowler, who has held the top position with the company since 1989.

From Dishwasher to Dynasty

David Gronewoller has a sign on his Golden Corral restaurants that includes the saying “The Most Crippling Failure Disease ... Excuses.” David doesn’t allow himself or his employees to make excuses, and that’s why he’s grown his restaurant empire to 12 Golden Corral locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, with two more under contract.

David could have made excuses when he left college after two years and started his career as a dishwasher. “I was determined to be the best damn dishwasher in the world,” he says.

“Living a Dream”!

Billy Sewell always knew he wanted to be a business owner. Straight out of college, Billy got his first look at the Golden Corral system when he started with the company’s management training program. He worked his way up the management ladder, adding title after title, until he finally knew he was ready to take on the ultimate title – franchisee.
